A motorcycle rider was killed last night in Ontario County when his bike hit a dog on Neider Road in Phelps.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office has not yet released the man’s name, but says he was riding on Neider Road near Cedar Swamp Road when he hit the dog and was ejected from his motorcycle. The victim was airlifted by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
The Department’s Crash Reconstruction Team says alcohol or drugs were not a factor in the accident.
