A motorcycle rider was injured Sunday afternoon when the driver of a pickup truck turned left across his path on the west side of Rochester.

Police were called to the 400 block of Clay Avenue after the 27-year-old rider crashed into the passenger side of the truck. His injuries were non-life threatening and he was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The truck driver wasn’t hurt, but was ticketed for failing to yield right of way.
