Former Rochester Housing Authority head George Moses asked a federal judge to allow him bail so he coul go free until his sentencing in March of 2022.
Instead, the judge said she considers him a flight risk, and on Thursday denied his request. The judge says Moses has strong connections to Canada and cares only about himself.
Moses was found guilty on charges including fraud and falsifying tax returns. He was accused of stealing from the Housing Authority and from organizations supporting low income housing in Rochester.
