The National Weather Service in Buffalo is warning us to expect Round Five of Lake Ontario Flooding. They’ve issued a Lakeshore Flood Watch beginning late Tuesday night and running through Wednesday afternoon.
Following Monday’s 90 degree weather, a cold front crossing the area is bringing lower temperatures and stronger northeast winds. With Lake Ontario not far below its record high, that means the potential for more flooding along Edgemere Drive and other low lying areas as we’ve seen multiple times this spring.
