A Monroe County Sheriff’s Office K9 team will be part of the security detail at this year’s Super Bowl in Atlanta.
The MCSO says Deputy Ryan Fisher and explosive-sniffing K9 Lola have been selected for the security team by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Monroe County is part of the National Explosive Detection Canine Team program, and the selection through that program is a first for the sheriff’s office.
Deputy Fisher and Lola will head for Atlanta tomorrow (Fri) at 10:00.
