Monroe County has recorded its second death from COVID-19. The name of the second victim has not been officially released.
The Monroe County Health Department says there are now 80 confirmed cases of the coronaviru in the county, 12 new cases diagnosed since Sunday afternoon. The new patients range in age from their 20s to their 90s, and are both men and women.
Of the 80 cases, 11 are hospitalized and five are in intensive care. Nearly 400 people are now in mandatory quarantine.
