The Monroe County Health Department is reporting one new death of COVID-19 yesterday, bringing the total to 286 since the pandemic began. There were 22 new cases as of this evening, with 36 people currently in the hospital.
The county says just eight of those are in the intensive care unit and on ventilators. Nearly four thousand people have had the disease and recovered from it.
