Scratch another sport off the list if you’re a patriotic fan who doesn’t support Marxism. Major League Baseball is all in with the Black Lives Matter movement and even though they have not been as outward as the National Football League and National Basketball Association, the return of baseball will be politically motivated. In two separate exhibition games on Monday during this short Spring Training 2.0, players and – more importantly – a manager and coach took a knee during the traditional playing of the National Anthem in Oakland. San Francisco Giants skipper Gabe Kapler joined players Jaydin Davis, Austin Slater and Mike Yastrzemski (grandson of the legendary Carl Yastrzemski) and first base coach Antoan Richardson in the protest, while in San Diego, Angels relief pitcher Keynan Middleton took a knee and held up a Black Panther/Black Power fist.

The official MLB Twitter account showed a video clip of the Giants’ protest and followed it up after the act being questioned by fans. “The players and coaches are using their platforms to peacefully protest,” is all you need to hear and it not only quantifies what is deemed inappropriate by many, but can even be read as encouragement for more of the same.

“It has never been about the military or the flag,” MLB stated in the Twitter exchange. But therein lies the main issue – what does the kneeling and fist protest stand for? When Colin Kaepernick started the trend in 2016, he stated that it was to bring awareness to police brutality against blacks and the former NFL quarterback became the de facto face of the BLM movement. But since then, the organization has been blatant about its agenda – one that is not only anti-police, but anti-American, as well.

Patrisse Cullors is a co-founder of BLM and has stated that she and fellow co-founder Alicia Garza are “trained Marxists.” The group’s official website – under the ‘What We Believe’ section – states many things including “(w)e disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family,” which is a traditional two-parent and children household, and that they “do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege.” What is ‘cisgender,’ if you’re not familiar with that term? It means that you are one particular gender from birth and not transgender.

BLM NYC chapter chairman Hawk Newsome has called for a “war on police” and stated “(w)e pattern ourselves after the Black Panthers, after the Nation of Islam; we believe that we need an arm to defend ourselves.” The Black Panther Party was a domestic terrorist organization infamous for executing police officers in the 1970s and the Nation of Islam is a divisive anti-Semitic organization led by Louis Farrakhan, who has preached theology that “blacks are superior over whites” and that “whites were created over 6,000 years ago as a race of devils by an evil scientist named Yakub.”

The BLM protests/riots that have taken place since the George Floyd incident have also been clear as day signs that this organization is one bent on hate, destruction and power, not peace and equality. The United States of America has turned into a war zone of sorts in many of its biggest cities, such as New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland and Chicago. And the ‘cancel culture’ has been working overtime ruining the livelihoods of those who simply believe and say that ‘all lives matter’ and by defacing and physically removing statues and monuments from Confederate generals to George Washington to The Virgin Mary.
