A missing Holley woman and her young son have been found safe in the City of Rochester. But 24-year-old Alexandra Finnefrock is also in custody, and facing charges of endangering the welfare of a child in Orleans County.

Rochester Police report that the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force located Finnefrock and her two-year-old son Joseph Theo Williams Tuesday evening at a home near Bay and Cummings Streets. Finnefrock’s car was found in the city earlier in the day. The child has been reunited with his family.

Finnefrock was arraigned on the child endangerment charge Tuesday evening in Murray Town Court.

The Orleans County sheriff’s office said earlier that Finnefrock drove off from her father’s home in Holley with her son on Thursday, and her family heard nothing more from her. Friends told news media she had expected to be back home in about an hour.

Investigators believe she’s been in the Rochester area since she left Holley.
