The Rochester teenager accused of firing shots at police during a chase through Durand Eastman Park this summer is now being identified as a “person of interest” in the beating of an 83-year-old Chili man this week.
15-year-old was supposed to be in court today in connection with the Durand Eastman incident, but Attorney Vincent Merante says his client has cut off his GPS ankle bracelet and disappeared. The family court issued a warrant for his arrest.
83-year-old Bob Austin was confronted in his garage by two people who beat him with a baseball bat. Deputies consider the 15-year-old a person of interest in that crime.
