Searchers have found a 19-year-old Honeoye Falls woman who ran away from her home yesterday without shoes or a coat. MCC Student Madeline Rose was found safe on the 4100 block of Clover Street and was taken to the hospital for medical evaluation.
She was found by a volunteer who was driving down Clover Street on her way to join the search parties.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is thanking all first responders and numerous volunteers who joined the search for her Thursday morning.
Rose did not take her wallet or her phone with her when she left on foot from the area of Pride Street and Cheese Factory Road about 9:30 Wednesday night. Authorities were concerned because she wasn’t dressed for the weather.
A host of first responders including deputies and firefighters with their equipment searced for Rose through the night before she was found late Thursday morning.
