The four men indicted in connection with a mass shooting on State Street all pleaded “not guilty” Friday afternoon.
Josue Delgado-Rivera, Efrain Figueroa Jr, Jaime Fontanez-Baez and Juan Luis Garcia were all indicted by a Monroe County grand jury. Two are charged with second degree murder and all are charged with assault and weapons possession.
All four men are accused of firing into a crowd of people leaving the Mexican Village nightclub early on the morning of February 7th.
Ernesto Aybar was killed in the gunfire and seven people were injured.
Garcia’s attorney — Matt Rich — told reporters he’ll move to have his client tried separately because he bears less culpability than the men who fired the fatal shots at Aybar.
