Rochester police have arrested two men they say are responsible for a string of nearly two-dozen burglaries from garages and sheds around the city’s 19th Ward.
They say police spotted the two men running from a home on Chili Avenue about 5:30 Thursday morning after a call reporting a burglary in progress. Both were arrested after a brief foot chase. Police identify them as 20-year-old Michael Nash and a 17-year-old whose name has not been released. Both are charged with third degree burglary.
Additional charges are expected against both men.
