The Jeffrey M. Evoy, Superintendent - click for larger imageSchool Superintendent of Medina has passed away as the result of an illness. The district says 50-year-old Jeff Evoy died on Thursday.

He was a home-grown administrator who started as a teacher, became a principal and  then superintendent five years ago.

According to the OrleansHub website, he led the district to a dramatic improvement in student  test scores during that time.
