Student athletes at Monroe Community College will be able to compete again this spring in lacrosse, soccer and other intercollegiate sports under a plan laid out by SUNY and the National Junior College Athletic Association, the NJCAA.
The agreement lets individual colleges decide how they want to proceed, and MCC says it plans to start its spring sports season on March 20th and end in May. It will offer baseball, softball, lacrosse and soccer. Some games will be played that should have been in the fall but had to be postponed. Competition will depend on COVID-19 numbers staying low.
