Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren is supporting a group of Presidential Electors who say they want more information about alleged Russian interference in this year’s campaign before they vote as the Electoral College.
Ten electors, nine Democrats and one Republican, have signed a letter saying they want a classified intelligence briefing on the alleged Russian hacking before their vote is taken.
Warren is one of 29 New York electors pledged to Hillary Clinton, who won the popular vote in the November election but lost to Donald Trump in the Electoral College. In an email statement, she says she fully supports the group. Warren says alleged Russian attempts to interfere in the election should concern everyone.
