Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren is meeting in Washington, D.C. today with members of the Congressional Black Caucus, talking about her campaign against gun violence.
Warren launched a “100 Cities Against Gun Violence” initiative last month, getting nearly 100 cities to agree to speak out against gun violence by the end of June. Members of the caucus invited her to speak about it.
Warren says local governments are on the front line fighting gun violence and it victimizes families, police and neighborhoods.
