The Rochester Lancers coach Doug Miller and player Jeremy Ortiz will participate.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Doug Miller joins the first ever MASL All-Star game! The Game is set for 8 pm ET on Saturday, Dec. 5 at Cable Dahmer Arena in Missouri.
Miller is on the roster of the Major Arena Soccer League’s Eastern Conference All-Star Team. He is the oldest pro soccer player in history, and the oldest player to play in an all-star game. Miller has been playing pro soccer since the 90’s; he is the only American soccer player to have competed in 4 decades.
“We are honored that Rochester’s Living Soccer Legend, Doug Miller, will be representing our great city in this All Star game!” said Salvatore “SoccerSam” Fantauzzo.
“It’s always exciting to be involved in an all-star game or at this point, the pandemic, in any game,” Doug Miller said.
Jeremy Ortiz, who is a Rochester Lancer midfielder, also made the All-Star Game lineup.
Fans can watch the game on pay-per-view streaming via Facebook for the cost of $15. Go to the MASL Facebook page: facebook.com/MASLsoccer.
