A man wanted in Georgia for aggravated assault has been arrested in Rochester by U.S. Marshals.
They say 54-year-old Raleigh Ferrell was wanted in the Atlanta area for a shooting that took place on December 17th during a robbery attempt. Marshals received information that Ferrell was in Rochester, staying with a friend. They were able to locate him with help from Rochester Police and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, and Ferrell was arrested without incident.
He’s being held on a fugitive from justice charge and awaiting extradition to Georgia.
