Vincent Mannillo, of Greece was in Irondequoit court Thursday afternoon, for a preliminary hearing in the hit-and-run that killed an 87-year-old woman in Irondequoit last fall.
Mannillo is charged with criminally negligent homicide.
Joan Dierna was struck and killed on November 10 as she crossed Bay View Road to get her mail.
Prosecutors believe she was hit by the back of Manillo’s truck. His attorney says a door on the dumpster he was hauling may have swung open and struck Dierna.
