A man 
named as a persistent violent felony offender will be sentenced to at least 16 years in prison after being found guilty of stealing $15 and an iPhone.
A Monroe County Court Jury found 51-year-old Bobby Lee Davis Guilty of second degree burglary.
Davis was seen 11 months ago walking past 148 Adams Street when he ducked in the open front door and rifled the homeowner’s purse. Police used the “Find My Phone” app to locate the iPhone, which was still in Adams’ possession. The victim identified him as the man she saw walking past her yard.
Prosecutors say Davis has been in prison for 25 of the last 32 years. He’ll be sentenced December 1st.
