Rochester police say a man in his 30s was stabbed and fatally injured Thursday evening on Mazda Terrace.
Police say they were alerted by people who approached them and reported a man stabbed up the street. They 31-year-old Kevin Hines suffering from a stab wound to the torso. He’d also been struck by a car. He died later after being brought to Strong Memorial Hospital.
Working from a description provided by witnesses, as well as surveillance video, police tracked down 24- year-old Breanna Kelley of Rochester who had fled the scene in a car. She was arrested on nearby Clinton Avenue.
Kelley and Hines were in a domestic relationship. Witnesses said she stabbed him during an argument and then struck him with her car while fleeing the scene.
Kelley has been charged with manslaughter, and may face additional charges as the case is being referred to a grand jury.
