Rochester police say a 50-year-old Rochester man was shot in the upper body just after midnight on the 400 block of Jefferson Avenue.
Police found the victim on Champlain St, where he had gone to get help. Police found evidence at the scene and are following up on several leads to the shooter. The victim was taken to the hospital and is recovering.
