Rochester Police are investigating a homicide at a vacant house on Sherman Street on Rochester’s West Side.
Police say a 22-year-old man was found dead 162 Sherman, not far from Lyell Avenue. The city’s Shot Spotter system picked up gunfire at around 6:35 in the morning. Neighbors also reported hearing shots fired at the same time.
The victim had been shot at least once in the upper body and died at the scene. There is no arrest so far.
