A Rochester man has been sentenced to eight-to-25 years in prison for plotting to murder a Monroe County Family Court Judge.
Dimitri Cash is already serving 115-years-to-life in prison for kidnapping his two children from the Greece foster home where Judge Stacy Romeo had placed them. Cash was found guilty in December of conspiring to kill her because he was upset with her rulings in his custody case.
Prosecutors say Cash staked out the judge’s home and neighborhood, surveiling her daily routine and researching her lift. He also bought kerosene.
