A man who was arrested in mid-December for burglary came back 11 days later and did it again, leading to his re-arrest for violating an order of protection.
Rochester police say 36-year-old Austin Williams again violated the order, bringing a gun to a home on Rockland Park between Clifton Street and Jefferson Terrace. There were two children in the house at the time.
Police cordoned it off and established communications with the children who got out of the house safely. A police negotiator talked for some time with Williams, who finally came out and was safely taken into custody.
Williams was charged with 2nd degree Criminal Contempt.
