Three people are facing charges in both Greece and Oswego after a Rochester area man was kidnapped and driven to Oswego.
Deputy Greece Police Chief Richard Downs says a 24-year-old Gates man was lured to an apartment in Greece, where he expected to meet a call girl. Instead, the three suspects tied him up. He was beaten, sexually assaulted and forced to withdraw money for the suspects. Then they drove him to Oswego in his own car.
The victim broke free of his captors at a Walmart in Oswego and got away. Oswego Police arrested the suspects shortly after.
Police charged 22-year-old Shelby Hodge and 23-year-old Carl Jones Jr. from Wayne County….and 34-year-old Ronald Barber of Rochester…. with kidnapping, robbery, and grand larceny. Hodge and Barber are additionally charged with aggravated sexual abuse and assault.
