A Rochester man is in guarded condition after a fire at his apartment Sunday night.
The RFD says flames broke out about 9:00 p.m. in the Seneca Towers on Seth Green Drive near the Genesee River Gorge. Firefighters arrived to find fire on the 8th floor and a man suffering from burns and smoke inhalation in the apartment. He was rushed to the hospital and the fire was contained to the 8th floor, with minor water damage to the apartments below.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
