Federal prosecutors have filed arson charges against a man accused of setting a construction trailer on fire during the May rioting that followed a demonstration in downtown Rochester.
Marquis Fraiser is one of several people arrested for rioting and vandalism following what had been a peaceful Black Lives Matter rally downtown. BLM organizers said the originators of the violence were not affiliated with their movement.
City-owned vehicles were set on fire as well as the trailer.
The complaint filed against Fraiser says he is seen in a Facebook Live video throwing a Molotov Cocktail into the trailer.
Fraiser turned himself in to police last month.
