A Wayne County man is dead after his snowmobile fell through the ice on Little Sodus Bay Tuesday Evening.
The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office says Rodney Turner, 54, was riding his snowmobile across the frozen bay when he fell through thin ice. People waiting for him on shore grew concerned when he failed to show up and caled 911. Rescue crews pulled the Red Creek man from the water but were unable to revive him.
