A Rochester man is going to prison after being found guilty of second-degree murder.
A Monroe County Jury found 25-year-old Kadeem Harris guilty of second degree murder, attempted murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
Prosecutors said Kadeem’s brother was armed with a gun when he confronted Derick Reed at the corner of Frost Avenue and Jefferson Avenue in November of 2016. They said say the brother handed gave the gun to Kadeem, who fired it several times, injuring his intended target, Derrick Reed, and killing innocent bystander Darryl Conner.
