The man charged in the deaths of a mother and son in Kendall has posted bail. David Wiley was supposed to be in court Monday evening, but the hearing was adjourned.
Wiley was the caretaker at the duplex where Joan Gilman and her teenage son, Richard, were killed last month by carbon monoxide. Their power had been shut off two days earlier, and a portable generator was running in a closed garage.
Authorities say Wiley was responsible for the electric bills, and it was Wiley who ran the generator. He is charged with two counts of criminally negligent homicide and two counts of reckless endangerment.
