martin-macdonald-dob-4-4-59The Pittsford man accused of shoving autistic runner Chase Coleman to the ground in Cobb’s Hill Park last month has been offered a plea deal.

In court this afternoon, Martin MacDonald was offered the chance to plead guilty to his second degree harassment charge. In return, he would perform 120 hours of community service, including five at the “Autism Up” agency in Rochester, and he would have to enroll in an anger management program.

MacDonald’s attorney, Gary Gianforti, says he’ll talk it over with his client. They’ll be back in court on November 17th.

Chase Coleman and his family came from Syracuse to attend the hearing in Rochester City Court today. They didn’t have any comment, and neither did MacDonald.
