No such luck for a Livingston County man who was about to get out of jail, until Deputies found he was a wanted man in Connecticut.
The sheriff’s office says 54-year-old Robert Hennekens was about to be released by the Avon Village Court after being jailed on a criminal possession of a weapon charge. But the booking deputies ran him through the system, and before he was released a notification came back that he was wanted for larceny in Danbury, Connecticut.
The sheriff’s office confirmed with Danbury Police and booked Hennekens as a fugitive from justice. He’ll be extradited back to Connecticut.
