A Groveland man has been arrested on a felony charge of making a terroristic threat after saying he would shoot up his workplace.
30-year-old Nicholas Willey was fired from his job at Coast Professional in Geneseo. Shortly after, Willey’s Facebook page led his boss to believe he might be planning an attack. The boss sought a restraining order against Willey.
Willey was originally asked to move to a new desk according to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, causing him to become agitated and vow that “people will pay for this.” Witnesses reported him saying he would bring a gun to the office and that he had a list of people who had wronged him.
Deputies say Willey turned over his legally owned weapons to the sheriff’s office.
