A call to 911 led to the arrest of a drunken driver on I-390 who had a three-year-old child in the back seat.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says a driver called 911 to report another driver speeding swerving in-and-out of traffic while throwing a beer can out the car window. Sheriff Tom Dougherty says 55-year-old Elbert Jackson Jr. was pulled over by Dansville Police, quickly joined by a deputy who arrested Jackson for DWI. He was charged with Felony DWI because of the child being in the car.
Jackson was being held on $2,500 bail.
