A Rochester man will spend 25 years in prison after admitting that he shot another man in the back.
The shooting happened in Rochester’s Maplewood Neighborhood, near the Flower City Cathedral. Keegan Whitley, 42, was shot by Tyrique Griffin. Police say Griffin chased the older man for at least a mile before shooting him in the back on Primrose Street.
The incident happened on the night of August 28, 2021.
