Six units of a Macedon apartment complex were destroyed by fire Monday, leaving a number of families homeless.
Firefighters had to evacuate several people from the first floor, and one South Macedon firefighter arrived to find his own apartment in flames.
The Red Cross is helping the families who lost their housing with alternate housing, food and clothing.
The fire reignited Tuesday morning, forcing the fire department to make another trip to the site.
