Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo says Rochester’s is the first airport in Upstate New York to reach an agreement with a rideshare company.
The Monroe County Airport Authority has signed an agreement with Lyft permitting them to operate from the Greater Rochester International Airport. Lyft drivers will start serving the airport on June 29th, the first day of operations in New York State.
The airport authority is still talking with Uber about a similar agreement.
