Five women have been charged after Rochester police investigated a video posted of a fight on Lyell Avenue. Police learned of the video on May 12th, showing a large fight between women on Lyell near Saratoga Avenue.
Investigators worked with the Monroe County Crime Analysis Center to locate the women involved in the fight and interviewed several people who said they were attacked by a group of women after a fender bender.
Arrested were:
- Kiera A. Martin, age 24
- Najeria Knorr, age 20
- A’Ishah Stewart, age 20
- Tiera Thomas, age 23
- Anisah Harvey, age 23
All were charged with second-degree attempted assault, third degree assault and first degree rioting. All were issued appearance tickets and a date in city court.
