Monroe County officials said in a news conference Thursday that COVID-19 vaccinations for the Finger Lakes region could by finished by June if the number of vaccinations and available doses continues to increase at current rates.
Dr Nancy Bennett of the Finger Lakes Vaccine Hub said by the end of this week, about 30 percent of eligible people in the Finger Lakes region will have been vaccinated. More than 101,000 Monroe County residents have received both doses of the vaccine, and nearly 203,000 more have received one dose.
