More details have been released about Monday’s fatal crash in Livonia, including the name of the man who was driving a van that hit and killed a woman as she checked her mailbox.
The Livingston Co. Sheriff’s office says 32-year-old Jaden Miller of Phelps was driving on Richmond Mills Road when he crossed the center line and drove off the shoulder of the road. Authorities say the van struck 59-year-old Judith Gillis, who was walking out to get her mail. Gillis was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
