The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office has lodged felony charges against a Livonia man who allegedly ran up more than $8,000 in charges on another man’s credit card.

The department says it got a complaint from a North Carolina man alleging his credit card had been compromised. Investigators found the card had been sent to the man’s former address in Livonia, and the man who moved in after him kept the card and used it without knowledge of the rightful owner.

They arrested 57-year-old Robert Mastowski on charges of identity theft and grand larceny. He’s being held on $5,000 bail.
