A Leicester woman has been arrested after authorities say she stole money from a business in Lakeville.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says 38-year-old Kristy Peffers was using a company credit card from her employer to pay off her personal credit card bills. Peffers allegedly used the credit card over a three year period, running up more than 81 thousand dollars in charges.
Peffers was arrested Tuesday and charged with second degree grand larceny. She was taken to the Livingston County Jail and has been released on bail.
