The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says a Leicester man has been arrested on a felony rape charge, after an investigation that began with a complaint of neighbor trouble.
Sheriff Thomas Dougherty says one neighbor went to the other’s house on Kingston Road to discuss an inappropriate relationship between an 18-year-old man and a girl less than 14-years-old. The 18-year-old, identified as Christopher Thompson, allegedly became aggressive and attacked the neighbor. An investigation confirmed the assault and that Thompson had sex with the underage girl.
Thompson was arrested on the rape charge as well as second degree harassment. He’s being held on $5,000 bail.
