A Springwater couple are in jail after threatening another family at gunpoint over use of their apartment complex laundry room.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says 27-year-old Jared Panipinto got upset over another tenant using the washers and driers. An argument started, and Panipinto went back to his department and armed himself with a long gun. His wife, 24-year-old Frankie Panipinto, armed herself with a handgun.
Deputies say Panipinto pointed his weapon at the other tenant, his 16-year-old son and his 17-year-old nephew. Frankie Panipinto slapped the 17-year-old across the face.
Both Panipintos have been arrested on numerous charges including reckless endangerment, menacing, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment. Deputies confiscated the couple’s weapons.
