A pair of Livingston County sex offenders have been charged with violating the terms of state registration laws, one for failing to report his new address when he moved and the other for failing to keep his photo ID current.
Livingston County Sheriff Tom Dougherty says 42-year-old Joseph Spring, a Level 2 Offender, moved from Geneseo to Dansville and failed to report it as required within 10 days. He was being held in jail on $500 bail.
Mark Fox, a 48-year-old Level 1 Offender, was charged with failing to update his ID photo every three years as required by law. He was also held on $500 bail.
The investigations and arrests were handled by Sheriff’s Investigator Dan Rittenhouse of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Sheriff’s Office.
