A 55-year-old Hemlock Man is charged with burglarizing a home in Livonia while his 18-month-old granddaughter was in his care.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says Raymond LeMay was arrested after the Monroe County Crime Lab matched his fingerprints to those found at the crime scene. Sheriff Tom Dougherty says LeMay allegedly climbed through an unlocked window and stole a safe holding money and silver coins. The safe was later recovered from a field where it had been dumped in Ontario County.
LeMay is charged with second degree burglary, larceny and endangering the welfare of a child.
