The two largest health systems in our area are outlining a restricted plan to resume hospital visitations as the state and Monroe County continue to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.
The University of Rochester Medical Center and Rochester Regional Health announced that limited visitation can begin at area hospitals on Thursday.
Only two people may visit. They have to be designated by the patient and only one may come in at a time. Masks and social distancing must be practiced. You can’t visit anyone hospitalized with COVID-19 and you can’t visit patients in the emergency department.
Visiting hours will be designated by the individual hospitals.
