Winter is just beginning, but the organizers of Rochester’s Lilac Festival are releasing the dates for 2018: May 11-through-20.
It will be the 120th anniversary of the Lilac Festival in Rochester, and producer Jeff Springut says they have big plans so they’re putting the dates out early.
More than 50,000 people from around the Northeast and the Province of Ontario commonly visit the Lilac Fest each spring. More than 120 bands are already booked and so are more than 320 juried arts and craft vendors.
The organizers are asking people to share their past Lilac Festival photos at #LILACFEST as a start to the big anniversary.
